What is “The Money Saving Wheel”?

It is the basic concept that you continue to run into a recurring problem each and every day, week or month irregardless of the function and you only have time to put a “band aide” on it “for now” thereby exacerbating the problem with no end in site. Utilizing “The Money Saving Wheel” methodology we stop, implement the “fix” now and for the future such that the money costing issue(s) never raises its ugly head again giving you consistent, reliable and accurate reports building over time saving you tens of thousands of dollars annually.

What can you expect during our first meeting?

We’ll start right off with what’s keeping you awake at night, what are your biggest concerns, what is both costing you money that shouldn’t be and why you are not on track to meet your revenue goals! We’ll then know what your priorities are and give some examples of how you may be able to save money! Lastly and quickly we’ll uncover those nasty cash eating bugs in your daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly workflows and map out a future with you for your company that will bring you the happiness you deserve for all the hard work you put into running your business while we work in the background (mostly) at saving you that hard earned cash, because we both know, cash is still king!

Please have whatever system(s) you currently use to track your bills and finances available for our first meeting. We will review those together and discuss how we can help you begin to save money and achieve your financial goals.

What bookkeeping/accounting software do we use?  

We are Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisors and are excited to either get you signed up (we make no money from this) or take your current QuickBooks tool box and magnify it to the “Max” to get you on your way to saving money month after month! We can “bolt” on other financial related tools/software but we have found that QuickBooks Online works perfectly for businesses with annual sales between $300k and $100M in revenue annually (the Enterprise subscription). But, to get started we’ll start as small and slow as you desire! 

What about Payroll?

To ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, we will either partner with your outsourced payroll company and time entry platform to gather all information needed for you and your staff. If you don't have a payroll company currently we are happy to bring you on as a QuickBooks Online Payroll (subscription required at certain levels) client and in the process, begin to save you even more money

We are prepared to assist you in preparing 1099's/W2’s (and related Federal and State required filings) and work with your Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to get all of your accounts reconciled and everything squared away for tax season so you can maximize your savings. We strongly recommend that you only hire a licensed CPA to prepare taxes on your behalf (we have partnered with some really good CPA’s).

What if I don’t have an accountant?

Using our Firm and our Quickbooks Online ProAdvisors platform, you simply don’t need an in-house accountant (think of all that money you could be saving), and your books will be “CPA ready” come tax time and we are happy to provide you with a variety of CPA professional referrals.

Do you help with tax preparation? 

We assist with taxes in two ways: 1) we’ll keep track of your Sales and Use Taxes, produce the State and any Federal filings and walk your through the steps to file and assist you as you make your payments, in addition we’ll also track all 1099 and W2 contractors and employees and again, prepare the State and Federal filings and walk you through those as necessary and, 2) we’re happy to refer you to a licensed CPA with your books prepared by our Firm, they will be CPA “tax ready” books for filing saving you money by not spending so much on CPA Firms throughout each year because we’re preparing your “tax ready” books.

How much do you charge? 

Excellent question, I’d want to know too! Your first consultation is free! Based on our first meeting (see above) and with the details you bring we’ll be able to develop a quote that is specific and unique to your business and how you envision your company’s growth. The importance of having those questions answered early on (even if they are your best guess in some cases) can not be underestimated (yet, we don’t want you to stress out over it either) as our main purpose is to get you on “The Money Saving Wheel” as quickly as possible. Simply be aware that the quote may have to be adjusted if we don’t have all of your information up front. But again, nothing to fret over, we can make this work for you!
